Dr. Laura Rigolosi is an experienced and dynamic educator who has mentored hundreds of teachers throughout New York City and the tri-state area. Having taught at the middle, high school and graduate school level, Laura is relatable and understands the intricacies of teaching and learning in a classroom setting. For the past fifteen years, Laura has worked with hundreds of teachers to strengthen their curricula and pedagogy, through one-on-one mentorship and large-scale workshops in a variety of school environments. While earning her doctorate from Columbia University’s Teachers College, Laura researched literacy at the secondary level, and the challenges and opportunities in teaching heterogeneously-grouped secondary students. Laura’s research-based approach to teaching and learning have resulted in hundreds of teachers shifting their pedagogy, resulting in higher student engagement and student growth.
